Youth empowerment in Odessa region
Youth empowerment is always a great issue for Ukraine even thought youth has a great potential for development of our country.
On 7th of April a panel discussion about youth empowerment was held in Impact Hub Odessa in a strong partnership with Youth Matters which is a unity of youth-led organisations. Volunteers, students, university professors, social activists and representatives of the local authorities had a chance to discuss whether there are enough possibilities for young leaders to gain skills to impact their lives and participate in community activities.
The main speakers of the discussion became Anna Bondarenko, Head of Hub Volunteer Service, Anna Rovenska, a head of an organizing commitee of StudCamp 2016, Natalia Mykhailenko, a head of a Centre of Patriotic Education, Vitalii Svichinsky, a head of regional administration in Savran, and Denis Yakolvev, Dean of the Faculty of Politology and Sociology in Odessa National Law University.
